Probably No More Posts Today [Again]

I’ll be out all day again today - on another St. John Ambulance duty. This time on dry land, however, and with a far greater likelihood of injuries [yay!*].

We are providing cover for the Colchester Military Festival, which should at the very least be fun to watch.

The festival is also the official focus for the British Army’s Falklands Commemorations.

So again I urge you to try out the other blogs in my sidebar, and enjoy this video of Springtime for Hitler

* It is a very strange feeling when you want people to hurt themselves… You get used to it though.

Bad phrasing - I hope you don’t want people to hurt themselves. You just want something to do…

I must have been in SJA for too long, as I don’t want patients anymore. I’m bored of all the little things that make us feel worthwhile without anyone hurting themselves (obvious eg. plasters, paracetamol); and the stuff that I may well find a challenge to a treat (and we all like a challenge) would mean someone is seriously ill, and I don’t want that.

I now look forward to a duty where I can sit around, drinking tea, watching the events and eating doughnuts.
Oh, and pointing out where the toilets are. *rolleyes*
